Muns Welding and Mechanical, Inc. was incorporated in 1989 and is licensed and insured to conduct business in the states of Georgia and South Carolina. Since 1989, Muns has successfully completed projects ranging from small one day projects to multi-year, multi-million dollar projects.
Our fields of operation are pipe spool fabrication and the installation of process piping systems. We also provide structural steel erection, fabrication, sandblasting, painting, and installation of mechanical equipment such as boilers, chillers, pumps, and tanks.
Muns is located in Beech Island, SC. We have a 14,000 sq. ft. fabrication facility that enables us to offer pre-fabrication capabilities of pipe spools made from various metals (including Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Chrome Molley, Inconel, and many more) and pipe sizes from ¼”to 48”. Some, but not all of our weld processes utilized are: GTAW, SMAW, GMAW, FCAW and orbital.
 
The administrative staff of Muns has extensive experience in the mechanical industry. At Muns, every attempt is made to keep our staff abreast of the latest developments within our industry, as well as training our new employees in the rewards of true craftsmanship. Our team utilizes the industry’s latest technology to ensure prompt, accurate, cost-effective and safe project delivery.
Our Safety Department is committed to maintaining a hazard free workplace. We strive to achieve excellence through effective Safety Programs, up-to-date training of employees, weekly Safety Meetings, and conducting regular job site inspections. Muns takes pride in its safety record, and is continuously looking for new ways to improve workplace safety as well as employee awareness. In keeping with Quality Policy, our management staff develops and implements a Quality Program focused on providing assurance that the company can fulfill its quality requirements for each individual project. Our full-time Quality Program is NQA-1 compliant.  All welders are AWS or ASME certified.  Muns is also a member of the National Certified Pipe Welding Bureau.
